Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you this simple DIY inspired by one of my FAVE illustrators. I found maruti-bitamin on Tumblr ages ago and I've been in love with her work ever since. It is whimsical, imaginative and downright gorgeous.

So, when I spotted this scarf at Target I thought of her immediately and did a little DIY to mimic the design of one of her characters. And you wouldn't believe how simple and easy it was.
First, you're going to need a scarf. I found mine at Target for about $12. Obviously, your scarf can't be an infinity scarf or something skinny. It needs to be able to cover your midsection.

Can you believe it??? So easy, but so fab! Please go check out maruti-bitamin. She is amazing and her prints would be a great idea for a unique and special gift. My brother-in-law got me some of her prints for Christmas and I LOVE THEM. Ok my lovelies, have fun with your DIY! If you try it out for yourself, please send me a pic on Twitter or Instagram!
Sydney, I absolutely LOVE this! I am going to dig out all my scarves and see if I have one that will work :) :)
