'ello loves! Nectarines and raspberries are in season right now and it just so happens that they taste absolutely delicious together. So, I whipped up this little smoothie for lunch and it was delish.
So, you're going to need about three nectarines, a handful of frozen raspberries, and some V8 Fusion Concord Grape and Blackberry juice. I like to make sure that my smoothies has has much fruit has possible in them. I don't like to use ice because I feel like it waters down the flavor. Plus, frozen fruits last much longer. To get even more fruits (and even some veggies in there) I use the V8 Fusion fruit juice. So, this smoothie is a whopper. Lots of good stuff for ya.
Just de-pit your nectarines, toss in your frozen raspberries (maybe a couple strawberries while you're at it), and add a little juice. Don't add a lot because because nectarines are made up of mostly water. And blend away. Keep adding frozen fruit until it is your desired temperature.
So simple, so good.
I'm trying to increase my intake of fruits and veggies and this is one delicious way to do it. This smoothie is so light, refreshing and summery! If you give it a try let me know on Twitter!
